This book suggests that quantum physics can be replaced with determinism. That 2006 hypothesis is debunked by research described here. Amusingly, byDr. Tomas Bohr, grandson of Niels Bohr.
Kay's book ignores this; perhaps he started writing it before 2018, and kept writing rather than abandoning the project and moving on.
