This book suggests that quantum physics can be replaced with determinism. Amusingly, by[[https://www.fysik.dtu.dk/english/-/media/institutter/fysik/research/fluids/fluid/english/members/cv_tb_dtuphysics_research-evaluation2018_september.pdf| Dr. Tomas Bohr ]], grandson of Niels Bohr.

Kay's book ignores this; perhaps he started writing it before 2018, and kept writing rather than abandoning the project and moving on.
