How I Work

After doing a sample edit (on large projects) or seeing the article and checking the word length (for articles), I will estimate the time needed. If you decide to hire me, I will keep you up to date on the progress of the edit and will let you know if it seems that it will take longer than first estimated. You can then decide how to proceed.

I will send you an edited manuscript, with suggested edits and questions entered with Word’s Track Changes.

You will review my edits, answer my questions, revise the text, and send it to me again. I charge for the second edit, but this usually takes much less time than the first edit. Additional passes may be necessary if peer reviewers request changes.
