Mary Roach
I should write more essays about other Mary Roach books; they are well researched, interesting, and often funny. She would be fun to talk to.
Sadly, "Six Feet Over" aka "Spook" [Ⓒ2002, 2005] is well written and funny but not at all my cup of tea. I gave up after chapter 1. At best, I hope this book leads a few "afterlife mavens" to her other books, and from there to science, neurology, etc.
