Index skimmed. I wanted to like this book, but only struggled through about 20 pages. The author seems partisan, judgmental, and not that imaginative. The social and educational effects of media, "smart"phones (dodopaddles), and school curriculum shifts are absent, as are the effects of those huge cultural shifts on norms. I have my own pontificating to do.
