Whole unit without screen or palm rest. The whole copper heat-sink extends from the middle to the upper left. The CPU is under the round circle in the center of the heat-sink. It is attached to the heat sink with Artic Silver 5 heat-sink grease. If you ever remove the heat sink, you will probably need to replace the grease ($7 for the tiny 7 gram syringe to the left).

The orange area on the left with the taped wires inside it is a second miniPCI card, the same size as the wireless card in the upper middle. This normally has a G3 CDMA card for Verizon wireless internet - that is, internet over the cell phone system.
