• Overall, this is a very good book, with useful information about increasing mobility for the challenged.

• Author doesn't drive due to nystagmus; involuntary (usually horizontal) eye jitter. Could this be compensated with high-frame-rate goggles that sense eye position and rapidly shift a displayed image to match the eye movement?

• sounds terrible - but these appear to be a few thousand imported racing vehicles ... still with emission standards, but "tuned" for the special and limited purposes of these racing vehicles. Racing vehicles generally average 1000 to 2000 vehicle miles per year, with engines often replaced for every race.

• This proposed decision responds to petitions filed by several low volume manufacturers requesting exemption from the generally applicable corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards for several model years (MYs). The low volume manufacturers and MYs are as follows:

These regulations cover emission control labels and on-board diagnostics, respectively."

  • Mobility Ventures LLC for MYs 2014-2016 (American made wheelchair accessible vehicles)

  • Pagani Automobili S.p.A for MYs 2014 and 2016-2023 (Italian sports car, 148 in the US)
